At WhatEat, we take the protection of your data very seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how your information is managed:

1. Data we collect

We only collect your email address and a unique user identifier (User ID) automatically generated when creating your account. We do not collect or store credit card details or bank information; all billing is securely processed by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy.

2. Use of data

Your email is used exclusively to manage your security authentication (through the Supabase platform) and to associate your active subscription status with the advanced features of the application.

3. Data retention

Your data is securely retained as long as you keep your account active. If you decide to delete your account, all associated data will be deleted immediately from our servers.

4. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, or erasure of your data by sending an email to our technical support.
